Danny grew up on a  hobby farm of sorts,  running the woods and dirt roads of farm country
Michigan.  He was 12 when his mother made him take lessons in piano,  and all though he was
a good sport about it for awhile, he quickly lost interest. It just wasn't on his terms. When he
turned 16 he dug  an old acoustic guitar out of the attic and  wrote his first song. It was on his
terms and he's  been doing it ever since. The summer of 2003 McIntosh found himself restless
and yearning for a change. So he packed his guitar,  moved to Montana ,  and started playing
the bars,  coffee shops, and porches of the big sky.  Writing a blend of country, blues,  folk,
and  acoustic rock  He continues to grow his craft.
Using the events in his life to tell his story and using his music to deliver it to world, Dannys
writings are honest,  heart full, beautiful, clever, sad, funny, and infectious.
"Listening to his music is like watching a story unfold.  He possesses the kind of talent that
you want to continue to rediscover"
